We generate and deliver energy across North America. Our portfolio includes hydropower, wind, solar and storage assets, providing reliable energy to communities, businesses, and partners. With approximately 6,400 MW of installed capacity, we invest in and operate assets with a long-term view, drawing on deep operational expertise to deliver dependable power.
Accounting for nearly two-thirds of our energy mix, hydropower is the foundation of our North American operations. Hydro’s inherent stability and long asset life provide exceptional durability to our operations, ensuring consistent performance and low operating costs.
While we continue to expand our energy portfolio into wind, solar and storage, hydropower anchors our business and remains the backbone of our energy infrastructure.
Hydropower
Hydropower generates electricity by using moving water to spin turbines connected to generators. Our facilities include both run-of-river systems, which rely on natural river flow, and reservoir-based systems, which allow for controlled generation based on demand.
Wind
Wind power is produced when wind turns the blades of a turbine, which spins a generator to produce electricity. Our wind facilities are located across varied landscapes and are designed for long-term performance, with the ability to be repowered to extend their operational life.
Solar
Solar power is generated through panels that convert sunlight into electricity. We operate utility-scale and distributed solar assets, often paired with battery storage to enhance reliability and flexibility.
Storage
Energy storage systems, primarily batteries, store electricity for use when demand is high or generation is low. These assets help stabilize power grids, support peak demand, and improve overall system reliability.
