NEW YORK, NY and BETHEL, NC – May 27, 2026 – SunEnergy1 and Brookfield today announced the acquisition of the Dixon project, a 210 MW utility-scale solar project in Jackson County, Ohio. With the addition of the Dixon project, SunEnergy1 is currently building four utility-scale solar projects for Brookfield with an aggregate nameplate capacity of over 800 MWs.

SunEnergy1 will also serve as the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractor for the Dixon project, delivering the facility under a turnkey structure designed to provide cost certainty and execution reliability from notice to proceed through commercial operation. The project will interconnect with AEP’s transmission system at a 230 kV substation, with all interconnection work to be performed by Southeastern Transmission & Distribution, LLC, an affiliate of SunEnergy1.
