Brookfield secures fourth solar project from SunEnergy1 – bringing total acquired projects to over 800 MW

• Brookfield acquired Dixon Solar, a ~210 MW solar project in Jackson, Ohio, being developed and constructed by SunEnergy1
• The project is located in the PJM power market where there is accelerating corporate demand for clean energy driven by data center buildout
• Brookfield has already purchased a 600 MW portfolio of projects from SunEnergy1, bringing the total portfolio acquired and under development to ~810 MWs
• Leverages the combined capabilities of SunEnergy1’s market leading vertically integrated development and construction capabilities and Brookfield’s commercial contracting and access to capital to deliver new clean power capacity to meet the growing needs of corporate customers

NEW YORK, NY and BETHEL, NC – May 27, 2026 – SunEnergy1 and Brookfield today announced the acquisition of the Dixon project, a 210 MW utility-scale solar project in Jackson County, Ohio. With the addition of the Dixon project, SunEnergy1 is currently building four utility-scale solar projects for Brookfield with an aggregate nameplate capacity of over 800 MWs.

SunEnergy1 will also serve as the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractor for the Dixon project, delivering the facility under a turnkey structure designed to provide cost certainty and execution reliability from notice to proceed through commercial operation. The project will interconnect with AEP’s transmission system at a 230 kV substation, with all interconnection work to be performed by Southeastern Transmission & Distribution, LLC, an affiliate of SunEnergy1.
